Martinez joins Mike Halloran after spending her entire professional career to date at Western Colorado University, working integrally with both the men's and women's basketball programs. After graduating from Western Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, her post-grad experience began as the director of women's basketball operations in August 2018.
Martinez held this title until March 2022, when she became the director of men's basketball operations in April 2022, holding that title until beginning this new journey with Halloran a full year later.
During her tenure as both basketball programs' operations leader, Martinez led and spearheaded fundraising projects, such as the Dunk Club which raised over $40,000 in one year alone. Martinez also organized multiple events that raised over $2,400 in funds that benefited cancer patients and helped bring donations to the local cancer foundations. On top of her money-raising efforts, Martinez managed all team travel arrangements and worked hand-in-hand with head and assistant coaches on day-to-day operations.
After spending the last five years as a Mountaineer, Martinez is ready to join Halloran's team and to get to work as a Griffon
