Cheer Squad
It is the sole purpose and mission of the Missouri Western State
University Cheer Squad to support the intercollegiate athletic programs
and serve as representatives of Missouri Western State University, and
be the primary source of spirit for the University community. The squad
also participates in philanthropic and public relation events that
benefit Missouri Western and the local community.
The Cheer Squad is expected to set high standards for their institution
and to set a good example for their fellow students.
Through coordinated efforts of community service and volunteerism in the
St. Joseph and surrounding area, the Western Cheer Squad is committed to
promoting the sport of cheerleading through education.
