Get in the game with the Griffons!
The Missouri Western State University women's basketball team is planning a 10-day summer trip to Greece!
(Click HERE for the team itinerary!)
While the travel experience is incredibly valuable to the student-athlete - giving them a unique educational opportunity that allows for growth off the court, the experience also plays a key part in enhancing the team's competitive excellence. Your Griffs will have the chance to measure themselves against top international competition, and just as importantly, will have the opportunity for additional practices to prepare for the upcoming 2023-24 season that they will not have otherwise.
The opportunity is a tremendous one - but not one that we can reach on our own. We are almost halfway to our fundraising goal of $85,000 to fund the international trip and we are asking you, our most dedicated supporters to get in the game and help push us over the top!
While any gift is welcome and will help us ultimately reach our goal, we're looking for some key supporters who can provide the key assist to help us reach our target! These gifts to the Missouri Western State University Foundation are gifts to an approved charitable organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Gifts to the Foundation are deductible when included among your itemized deductions on your federal income tax return.
Additionally, a limited number of packages will be made available for our fans to travel along with the team! Contact Paul Smith, Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Relations at 816-271-5904 or
